harry J. Armitage, Jr.

Harry J. "Jim" Armitage Jr., 69, of Washington Township, formerly of Monroeville, passed away Friday April 1, 2016, at Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Greensburg. He was born May 23, 1946, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Harry J. Sr. and Margaret (Kisso) Armitage. He is survived by his brother, Wallace H. Armitage and his wife, Kathleen, of Export; also nieces and nephew, Susan McKeown and her husband, John, Ann Mack and her husband, Steven, and Jon Armitage and his wife, Jenna Trunzo; and his great-nieces and nephew, Danielle and Luke McKeown and Vivian Armitage. Harry was a machinist and he enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
Friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, followed by a funeral service outside of church at 4 p.m. at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, with Deacon Daniel Frescura presiding.
