Marion E. Earnest

Marion E. (Lacaria) Earnest, 94, of Delmont, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at William Penn Personal Care in Penn Township. She was born Dec. 7, 1919, in White Valley, daughter of the late Pasquale and Pendilia (Perfetta) Lacaria. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Clarence R. Earnest, Jr., who passed away in 1994. Marion is survived by her loving family, including daughters, Connie Falvo, of Murrysville, and Janet Sherid, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Jim Falvo, of Monroeville, Chris Falvo, of Monroeville, John Michael Sherid and his wife, Rene, of Latrobe, Jeffrey Sherid, of Las Angeles, Calif., and Jason Sherid, of New Stanton; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jessica, Hannah, Michael, Andy, Katie and Ryan. Marion's family regarded her as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to play Monday Night Bingo in Export and during her younger years, loved to dance. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME,152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with Pastor Kara Probst presiding. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.
