Leonard C. Hartman

Leonard C. Hartman, 82, of Washington Township, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at Walnut Ridge Memory Care in Greensburg. He was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Washington Township, a son of the late Lester C. and Mary P. (Hawk) Hartman. In addition to his parents, Leonard was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Grace E. (Custer) Hartman. He is survived by his loving family, including sons, Jeffery Hartman and his wife, Amy, of Huntingdon, Michael Hartman, of Apollo, Eric Hartman and his wife, Cynthia, of Saltsburg, and Timothy Hartman and his wife, Mary, of Apollo; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, William Hartman and his wife, Carol, of Delmont; sister, Geraldine Schwab and her husband, Edward, of Apollo; and nieces and nephews. According to the family's wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, in Poke Run Presbyterian Church, Apollo, with the Rev. Peter Goetschius presiding. Interment will follow at Poke Run Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Poke Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Poke Run Church Road, Apollo, PA 15613 or to Alzheimer's Research, P.O.
