Julia L. Kaminski King, 77, of Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at William Penn Care Center in Penn Township. She was born June 21, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of the late John and Julia (Opiela) Kaminski. In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her brothers, John Kaminski and his wife, Yulada, Thomas Kaminski and his wife, Kathryn, and Stanley Kaminski and his wife, Dolores; sisters, Viola Kaminski and Helen Kaminski; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Taylor. Julie was a member of Christ's Church in Greensburg for 51 years. She worked for West Penn Power from 1955 to 1967 and then resigned to raise her boys. She returned to work in 1981 for the PENNECO Oil Co. and retired in 2001 as director of Partner Communications. She loved to dance, enjoyed polka music, loved to cook and most of all being with her family. Julie is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Raymond F. King Jr.; sons, Philip King and his wife, Suzanne, of Oakton, Va., and Daniel King and his wife, Elizabeth, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel, Isabelle, Alexandra, Erin and Brian King; sisters, Margaret Gutierrez, of Lexington, N.C., Dorothy Taylor, of Mt. Pleasant, Mary Urbanowski and her husband, Richard, of Austin, Texas; and also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ's Church, 145 N. Main St., Greensburg, with Father Jeffrey S. Wylie presiding. The family requests that everyone to please meet at the church. Interment services will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
