John A. Heinbaugh

John A. Heinbaugh, 82, of Slickville, passed away Monday March 28, 2016 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born March 30, 1934 in Humbert, Pa., son of the late James and Ada (Walters) Heinbaugh. In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by a grandson, John Heinbaugh, Jr. and a brother, Paul Heinbaugh. He is survived by his beloved partner, Cheryl Stephens, sons John E. Heinbaugh of Slickville, Ronald Heinbaugh of Slickville and a daughter Lynn Heinbaugh of Greensburg; grandchildren Christina and Ronald and two sisters, Margaret Heinbaugh of Meyersdale and Betty Wilburn and her husband, Clark of Ursina; also numerous nieces and nephews. John proudly served in the United States Army. During the 1970’s John was employed for Penn Line and then worked and retired in 1996 at Greengate Mall in Greensburg. As an animal lover he was an avid hunter and fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins! Friends will be received 3-8PM Tuesday at Bash-Nied Funeral Home 152 Abbe Place Delmont with funeral services commencing at 8PM with Pastor Daniel Lawrence of Murrysville Alliance Church Presiding.
