Sara Jane “Sally” (Coshey) Morgan, 92, of Slickville, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at ARK Manor in Delmont. She was born June 16, 1926, daughter of the late John R. and Martha (Melzner) Coshey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy B. Morgan in 1966. Sally is survived by two daughters, Jody Morgan of Slickville, Amy Stevens and her husband, Eddie of Hollywood, Fla, cousin Thomas Huff (Shirley) of Fla., three nieces and many wonderful friends especially Sally Mosay, Cathy Guzzo and Debi Gross. Sally was a long-time member of Slickville Presbyterian Church where she was an elder and also the recording secretary. She graduated from Bell Twp. High School in 1943 and attended Gettysburg College She retired as a teacher from Westmoreland County Intermediate Unit. Her memberships include serving as President of Salem Twp. Library Board, social member of American Legion Post 18 and the Slickville Civic Center where she faithfully attended the luncheons and played bingo. Friends will be received Thursday 7-9 PM at Bash-Nied Funeral Home 152 Abbe Place, Delmont 724-468-8381 where services will be held Friday 10AM. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Memorial donations may be directed to the Slickville Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 157 Slickville, Pa. 15684 or to Slickville Civic Center P.O. Box 207 Slickville, pa. 15684.
