Robert A. Scott

Robert A. Scott, 72, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Oct. 16, 1945, in Pittsburgh. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sandra (Edmiston) Scott; sons, Robert A. Scott Jr., of Erie, and Shawn Scott, of Monroeville; a daughter, Lauri Scott, of Jeannette; grandchildren, Michael, Shane and Keira Scott; a sister, Mary Marcus, of Lower Burrell; niece, Michele Sandor, of Penn Township; and close friend, Chuck Nuhfer, of Monroeville. Robert was big-hearted and always helping those in need whether by thought, word or deed. He had a quiet strength you could always feel, something tangible but very real. He would give the shirt off his back in a minute, and now the world is less without him in it.
Respecting the family's privacy, there will be no visitation, and interment will be held privately. Funeral arrangements are being handled by BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, Delmont, 724-468-8381.
