Joseph A, Yusko

Joseph A. Yusko, 89, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, at his home in Bell Township. He was born Jan. 23, 1928, in Hempfield Township, son of the late Michael and Anna (Kavulich) Yusko. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Irma (McDivitt) Yusko; son, Matthew Yusko; and brothers and sisters. He is survived by sons, Kevin Yusko (Susie), of Apollo, and Jason Yusko (Merissa), of Plum; daughters, Cloda Hewitt, of Slickville, and Carol Yusko, of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Michael, Kelli, Kori, Jade, Christi, Aedan, Liana, James and Apple; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Joshua, Matthew, Elizabeth, Silas, Micah, and Roman; also numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph proudly served and was honorably discharged from the Army after serving in the Korean War. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place Delmont, 724-468-8381, where services on Wednesday will be held privately, at the family's request. Interment will be held at Poke Run Cemetery Apollo.
