Irene (Rogal) Paterini

Irene (Rogal) Paterini, 79, passed peacefully Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. She was born July 28, 1938, in Nanty-Glo, to the late Joseph and Tessie (Povalaitis) Rogal. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Paterini and loving mother of Anthony Jr. (Beth) Paterini, Robert (Susan) Paterini and Lisa (Scott) Kepling; proud grandmother of Matthew, Carly, Steven, Kayla and Lexi; sister of William Rogal, Christine Simmons and the late Jean Risko; and beloved aunt to Robert Simmons, who was like another son. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont. Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the St. John Baptist de la Salle Church, Delmont, with Father Kenneth Zaccagnini presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to a charity of your choice.
