Shirley J. (Ritter) Gower

Shirley J. Gower, 74,  passed away at her home in Hempfield Twp. She was born December 27, 1940, loving daughter of Violet (Bauer) Ritter of Murrysville and the late Stanley Ritter. In addition to her father, Shirley was predeceased her beloved husband husband, Frances Gower and also by her first husband, Gerald Dean Steffey and a brother, Richard Ritter. She is survived by two daughters, Darla J. Smith and her husband, David of NC and Sharon Jackson and her husband, Kerry of New Kensington: grandchildren Stephanie Smith, Nathan Smith(Katherine), Kerry Jackson(Sammy) and Jessica Cox(Eric); Great Grandchildren Charlie, Mia, Matty, Braylen, Emma, Isaac and Savanna. By the family’s request, visitation and services will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to Pet Adoption League 150 Spring St. Yukon, Pa. 15698.
