Sharon A. (King) Sedlacek, 61, of Slickville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born June 5, 1954, daughter of the late Clarence and Elinor (Miller) King. In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by a daughter, Sara Jo King. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years, David Sedlacek; sisters, Margaret Baker and her husband, George, of Murrysville, Patricia Swanger and her husband, John, of Export; a brother, Paul King, of Arizona; nieces and nephews, Paul King II, Nicole King Clever, John Swanger Jr., Elinor Swanger, Rita Swanger, Kathleen Baker and Darla Baker; great-nephews, Tyler Clever and Cole Bryant; and aunts and uncles, Jane Aaron, Esther Blackson, Bernadette Butina and her husband, Ed, and Ed Vingin. Sharon loved to bake and generously donated to the Civic Center in Slickville and the Slickville Fire Department. She was active with the Apollo Senior Center and enjoyed her Bible Study Group. As a homemaker, Sharon was previously employed at the former Kunkles Dealership in Delmont, Gemini Trucking in Greensburg, Grabiak Dealership in New Alexandria and Valley Buick in Monroeville.
Visitation for the for the Sedlacek family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, and will continue from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, with services commencing at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Susan Beth Hans presiding.
