Paul S. Van Why

Paul S. Van Why, 71, of Murrysville, passed away Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville. He was born May 11, 1944 in Pittsburgh, son of the late George and Elsie (Ferguson) Van Why. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Doerfler) Van Why, a brother, George Van Why and a sister, Claudette Utiss. He is survived by two sons, Shane Van Why of Apollo and Heath Van Why and his wife Alicia of New Kensington; grandchildren Becca Kadora (Ben), Vanessa, Lucas, Skyler, Ezra, Stella Van Why and Lisa Cass; a great grandson, Brayden Kadora; a sister, Doris Harris of Atlanta, Ga. and also many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6PM at Bash Nied Funeral Home 152 Abbe Place, Delmont 724-468-8381. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 12 Noon at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Murrysville. Interment Services will follow at Verona Cemetery in Oakmont.
