Mary Elizabeth (Gilgovan) Ott Lloyd

Mary E. Ott Lloyd, 97, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at her home in Salem Township, with her loving family at her side. She was born June 28, 1917, in Homestead, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Rokosky) Gilgovan. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Walter Ott and Jack Lloyd; a son, Robert L. Ott; brothers, Michael and Louis Gilgovan; and sisters, Ethel Seifried and Helen Wolfe. Mary is survived by her devoted loving daughter, Carol Ott Zabkar (Larry), of New Alexandria; daughter-in-law, Sara Ott, of New Alexandria; stepdaughter, Judith Lloyd Duke (Robert), of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Jeffrey Shaw (Sandy), of New Alexandria, and their children, Austin and Alec, William Shaw (Stacy), of New Alexandria, and their children, Zack Shaw (Lexi) and Brady Shaw, Ryan Shaw (Dayna), of Greensburg, and their children Adrianna and Maci, Titina Ott Adams (Timothy), of Wexford, and their children, Amanda and Allison, Deborah Yurinko (Paul), of Export, and their children, Josh and Jacob, Rebecca Ott Wadhawan (Rahul), of Cleveland, Ohio, and their daughter, Maya, and Jeneen Irwin (Peter), and their daughters, Ella and Maggie, of Austin, Texas; a brother, Richard Gilgovan, of New Alexandria; and also nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of Congruity Presbyterian Church in New Alexandria. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and will always be in their hearts. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Congruity Presbyterian Church in New Alexandria with the Rev. H. Clifton Foster presiding. The family requests that everyone to please meet at the church. Interment services will follow at St. Clair Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorial donations are requested to Congruity Presbyterian Church, 136 Fenneltown Road, New Alexandria, PA 15670.
