Martha (Zahorchak) DaDamo

Martha (Zahorchak) DaDamo, 79, formerly of Plum, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, after a long struggle with COPD and CHF. She was born Nov. 7, 1935, in East Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Michael and Erma (Bakara) Zahorchak. Martha had retired from Westinghouse. In addition to her parents, Martha was predeceased by two brothers, Tom Zahorchak and Father Michael Zahorchak; and a sister, Rita Zahorchak. She is survived by a daughter, Tina (Kyle) Hambleton; and a son, Sam (Joan) DaDamo. Her greatest joy was being Nan to Anthony (fiancee, Stephanie) DaDamo, Nick DaDamo, Justin (Shawna) Hambleton and Lucas Hambleton; three great-grandchildren; and loving siblings, Marie (late Bill) Garofolo and Francis (late Cheryl) Zahorchak.
By the family's request, there will be no visitation. A private memorial blessing service will be held at a later date for the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381.
