Kenneth Stanley Cheyne

Kenneth S. Cheyne, 62, of Squirrel Hill, formerly of Swissvale and Swisshelm Park, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh with his loving family at his side. He was born April 18, 1952, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Stanley and Martha (Amshey) Cheyne. Kenneth is survived by his family: daughter, Angela Mamrak and her husband, Mike of Hughesville; son, Stanley Cheyne and his wife, Lauren, of Delmont; grandchildren, Madeline Rose, Evangeline, Lydia and Adelaide; a sister, Ruth Braem and her husband, George, of Monroeville; a niece, Lindsey Braem; and nephew, Douglas Braem. Kenneth held multiple positions in the information technology field throughout his career and was an avid sports fan and lover of life. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Swissvale. Friends will be received from 6 to 9p.m. Tuesday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church in Delmont with Father Joseph Bonafed presiding. Interment services will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park in North Huntingdon.
