Joseph J. Saflin

Joseph J. Saflin, 51, of New Alexandria, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016. Joseph was the beloved son of John and Donna (Kapusta) Saflin, of New Alexandria; and brother of John Saflin, of Swissvale,  and uncle of Savanna and Zack. He was preceeded in death by his brother Steve M. "Stevie". Joseph will be also be missed by his partner, Kim Inman; and his devoted friend and "sister", Brenda Gardone and her husband, Tony. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. John Baptist de La Salle Church with Father Joseph Bonafed officiating. An interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park.
