Glenn "Rick" Whitefield Jr., 58, of Export, formerly of Penn, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Excela Health Westmoreland in Greensburg. He was born Aug. 19, 1959, in Frederick, Md., son of the late Glenn R. Sr. and Jean G. (Pratt) Whitefield. In addition to his parents, Rick was predeceased by a brother, Jason Whitefield. He is survived by his beloved wife, Luzon "Lucy" (Curry) (Perfetta) Whitefield; son and best friend, Glenn R. "Ricky" Whitefield III, of Jeannette; and two stepsons, Joseph Peretto III, of Latrobe, and Boomer Perfetta, of Export; sisters, Laura Meyers (Bob), of McKeesport, Michelle Ressler (Paul), of Penn, Dawn Cecconello (Sonny), of Penn, Kim Whitefield, of Jeannette, Audra Rugh (Brian), of Jeannette, Kristin Ressler (Keith), of Jeannette, and Diona Wallace, of Penn; a brother, Kevin Whitefield (Theresa), of Penn; and many nieces and nephews. Rick will also be missed by his canine companions, Pimp'n, Brutus and Benny. Rick loved his family, especially his beloved wife, Luzon. He enjoyed camping and being outdoors. He was employed at Mama P's in Delmont and also as a mechanic.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, where a blessing service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday..
