Elizabeth L. "Bettie" "Bluebird" (Riccitelli) Stahl

Elizabeth L. "Bettie" "Bluebird" (Riccitelli) Stahl, 80, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at home. She was born April 2, 1936, in Providence, R.I., a daughter of the late John L. and Anna (Jacobs) Riccitelli. Bettie was the loving wife of the late Presley Clayton Stahl; mother of Patricia A. Wolfe, and her husband, Daniel, of Greensburg, Donna Glessner, and husband, Wayne, of New Florence, Karen Crystaloski, and her significant other, Marty Merichko, of New Alexandria, Diane Baughman, and husband, Paul, of Dawson, and Carolyn Kay (Stahl) Cavanaugh, of Delmont; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister of Jack Riccitelli and nine other brothers and sisters that had predeceased her. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bettie was a proud member of the American Indian Federation. She was a Mohawk Indian with the name of Bluebird.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-838. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St John Baptist de La Salle Church.
