Edward A. "Buzzy" Schrello

Edward A. "Buzzy" Schrello, 76, passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at his home in Delmont, with his family at his side. The Schrello family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Excela Health Home and Hospice for their sincere and compassionate care. Buzzy was born April 26, 1940, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Edward and Phyllis (Pavia) Schrello. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Schrello Secen. Buzzy leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Regina "Snookie" Schrello; daughter, Lisa Capozzi and her husband, Bucko, of Penn Township; a son-in-law, Greg Secen (Christina); grandchildren, Eric, Jaclyn, Matthew and John Secen; and many nieces and nephews. Buzzy was a member of Operating Engineers Local 66 for 57 years. He was a former drag racer, an avid fan of NHRA, NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
According to the family's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church, in Delmont, with Father Joseph Bonafed as celebrant. Interment will be held privately for the family.
