Carolyn Kay (Stahl) Cavanaugh

Carolyn Kay (Stahl) Cavanaugh, 54, of Delmont, died peacefully, surrounded by her family Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at UPMC East in Monroeville. She was born July 1, 1962, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Presley Clayton and Elizabeth L. (Riccitelli) Stahl. She was the wife of the late Thomas E.; sister of Patricia A. Wolfe, and her husband, Daniel, of Greensburg, Donna Glessner, and husband, Wayne, of New Florence, Karen Crystaloski, and her significant other, Marty Merichko, of New Alexandria, and Diane Baughman, and husband, Paul, of Dawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews whom she loved dearly. Kay loved music and art. She was known for playing her tambourines and for being a wonderful artist. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John Baptist de La Salle Church. Interment will follow at Eastview Union Cemetery, Delmont.
