Ann (Kuzmin) Fatur

Ann Kuzmin Fatur, 89, of Delmont, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Redstone Highlands in Greensburg. She was born Aug. 17, 1926, daughter of the late George and Mary (Hordi) Kuzmin. In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles "Chuck" Fatur, to whom she was married 60 years when he passed away in 2012. She is survived by her loving family, son, Tom Fatur, his wife, Joanne, and their daughter, Ashley, of Londonderry, N.H., and a daughter, Sue Humphrey, her husband, Tom, and their two sons, David and Jason, of Glendale, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Ann was also predeceased by sisters, Margaret Crawley, Kay Walczuk and Mary Kuzmin, and brothers, Andy Kuzmin and Michael Kuzmin. Her surviving brothers are Joe Kuzmin, George Kuzmin and John Kuzmin. Ann grew up in the Latrobe and Slickville areas. After graduating from Bell Township High School, she worked as a secretary at Commercial Credit in downtown Greensburg and later worked as a bookkeeper for Fatur's Market in Delmont. Ann loved to travel with her family, especially to New England, and enjoyed reading and playing cards. She planted and maintained a beautiful garden with lots of colorful flowers.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016, at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381. A funeral home service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, with Pastor Thomas M. Holmes, of Slickville Presbyterian Church presiding.
